ISO 26262, titled “Road vehicles – Functional safety”, is an international standard for functional safety of electrical and/or electronic systems that are installed in serial production road vehicles (excluding mopeds), defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 26262 addresses possible hazards caused by malfunctioning behavior of E/E safety-related systems, including the interaction of these systems. This webinar will describe a workflow and methodology will be described which guides the creation and validates the safety architecture prior to executing an expensive fault campaign.

Who Should Attend?

  • Component and system engineers
  • Verification Engineers
  • Project managers

Post the session, the participants will be able to:

  • Understand challenges commonly seen when complying with ISO 26262 standard.
  • Learn goals to achieve for functional Safety.
  • Learn the methodology to eliminate iterations in safety workflow.
