PROLIM is proficient in setting up, and managing PLM workloads, migrations, system integrations, and managing enterprise applications using AWS EC2 and relevant services.
AWS EC 2
AWS Elastic Compute service(EC2) provides scalable, secure computing capacity in cloud. It provides complete control of the elastic resources. AWS EC2 service reduces the time required to obtain and boot new server instances to minutes, allowing users to quickly scale capacity, both up and down, as the computing requirements change. EC2 service changes the economics of computing by allowing users to pay only for capacity that used. EC2 service provides developers the tools to build failure resilient applications and isolate them from common failure scenarios.

Instance Types of AWS EC 2
General Purpose Instance
General Purpose Instance
These instances provide a balance of compute, memory and networking resources and can be used for a variety of diverse workloads such as web servers, code repositories, and other general usages.
Compute Optimized Instance
These instances are ideal for compute-intensive applications that benefit from high-performance processors. Instances belonging to this family are well suited for batch processing workloads, media transcoding, high-performance web servers, high-performance computing (HPC), scientific modeling, dedicated gaming servers, and ad server engines, machine learning inference and other compute intensive applications.
Memory Optimized Instance
These instances are designed to deliver fast performance for workloads that process large data sets in memory.
Accelerated Computing Instance
These instances are GPU based and use hardware accelerators, or coprocessors, to perform functions, such as floating point number calculations, graphics processing, or data pattern matching, more efficiently than is possible in software running on CPUs.
Storage Optimized Instance
These instances are designed for workloads that require high, sequential read and write access to very large data sets on local storage. They are optimized to deliver tens of thousands of low-latency, random I/O operations per second (IOPS) to applications.
HPC Optimized Instance
High-performance computing (HPC) instances are purpose-built to offer the best price-performance for running HPC workloads at scale on AWS. HPC instances are ideal for applications that benefit from high-performance processors such as large, complex simulations and deep learning workloads.

AWS EC 2 Solution
PROLIM facilitates deploying Windows, Linux, and Mac-based workloads and applications in a safe and scalable environment by using Amazon EC2 and other AWS solutions. Enterprise customers using Microsoft Workloads are looking more to switch to Amazon EC2 to take advantage of the platform’s increased agility, performance, security, and cost-savings features. However, switching from an on-premises Windows applications running to the cloud can be challenging and needs important migration design and configuration decisions.
