Step 1:
Right click on My Computer and click on properties.
Step 2:
Click on the Advanced Tab
Step 3:
Underneath “Startup and Recovery” Click on Settings
Step 4:
Click on Edit next to “To edit the startup options file manually, click
edit”
Step 5:
Add ” /3GB” (no quotes) to your startup text file on the end of
the bottom line. Save the file, close out and restart your computer. The “noexecute=optin”
makes sure that your computer boots to the 3GB switch every time.
