Solid Edge 2023 includes new innovations linked with your Solid Edge SaaS subscription that improve collaboration with your employees, partners, and customers, thanks to the power of Xcelerator Share. Collaboration comments, increased view and markup support for other file types, and improved search features make it easier than ever to collaborate.

Collaboration commenting, which is available at the project, task, and file levels, enables colleagues, partners, and customers to communicate more effectively. Collaboration across multiple outputs necessitates numerous talks. Collaboration commenting tools promote efficient communication while encouraging productivity and synergy by allowing users to discuss more intently while also tracking those conversations.

Xcelerator Share includes additional project management capabilities, such as a modern dashboard and Kanban boards. The new, sleek dashboard on the Xcelerator Share home page lets customers grasp the status of project deliverables at a glance.

Kanban boards bring fresh approaches to teamwork. By displaying projects and tasks as easy-to-understand cards sorted into user-defined columns, this straightforward tracking technique helps visualize work and maximise productivity. The boards, which can be utilised on any device, are a useful tool for managing project progress during team meetings. A project or task can be modified with a simple drag-and-drop interaction.

With each additional subscription, the benefits of Xcelerator Share grow. Xcelerator Share continues to support a broader variety of Solid Edge and other Siemens products. Xcelerator Share now integrates with over 2,000 Siemens software subscriptions, including some in the Solid Edge range.

The standard plan gives 500GB of storage; each extra subscription adds 5GB to your online storage. With value-based licencing, you can get the Solid Edge add-on products you need when you need them. There is no need for multiple purchases with this licence option, which allows you to choose which capabilities you want and when, while also allowing you to mix and match the add-on items as needed.
