The majority of the primary classes of electric machines, including induction, switching reluctance, brushed DC, wound field commutator, and axial flux, as well as their drives, are available theoretically and physically through Simcenter SPEEDS.

Furthermore, Simcenter SPEED generates a pre-set list of parameters and particular maps (such as flux linkages, loss and/or efficiency, and thermal resistances/capacitances) that can be imported into Simcenter Amesim to support the system-level simulation of the e-machine integrated into its environment.
