Simcenter Powertester is the only tool in the industry that can combine active power cycling with transient thermal assessment and thermal structure study. The non-destructive structure-function evaluation is carried out while the device is still attached, enabling a complete electrical and structural examination of the device throughout the testing program in a completely automated manner.

Modules allow real-time failure-in-progress diagnostics, minimize testing and diagnosis time, and eliminate the need for a post-mortem or destructive failure analysis. They are powered by thousands, perhaps millions, of cycles. A variety of powering schemes are used to replicate actual operational field conditions. Configurations may deliver up to 3600A and measure up to 16 devices at the same time.
