Background:
An assembly is a collection of parts and subassemblies that are positioned in a meaningful way. The parts can be in their final orientation or have freedom of movement in translation and rotation. Solid Edge Assembly provides the tools needed to layout and position the parts relative to each other. Many methods exist to accomplish this task.
This training introduces the Solid Edge Assembly interface and discusses the different workflows for creating an assembly with the most commonly used part relationships.
